How to remove widgets (weather icon) from the Windows 11 Taskbar using a Microsoft Endpoint Manager Intune configuration profile
Windows 11 Taskbar weather icon (Widget)
In Windows 11, widgets are used display content from services and apps. The weather icon is pinned to the taskbar by default.
The following Endpoint Manager configuration configuration profile disables all widgets in Windows 11. There are no policy settings to manage widgets individually.

Create profile

Add settings
Search for widgets, then select the Widgets category
Tick Allow widgets
Close the Settings picker
Allow widgets: Not allowed
