Download and share Teams live event recordings using Stream
Teams live event recordings can be downloaded by the producer from the Teams meeting details.
Where are Teams live event recordings stored?
The recording will be saved to your Downloads folder
Upload video to Microsoft Stream
If you want to share the Teams recording, you can upload the video to Stream
Share video recordings using Stream
Open the video in Stream - Share
Click on the permissions to change sharing settings
Share the link with: People in my organization
Block download: On
Copy the link
Paste link into the Teams live event meeting chat
People in your organization will now be able to see the recording in Stream
Videos uploaded to Stream are saved in the OneDrive of the person who uploaded the file
Video expiry date
Don't forget to check the video expiry settings. By default, expiry is set to 120 days and videos will be deleted when they expire.
