Where are Teams meeting recordings saved?
Teams meeting recordings are saved in different places depending on the type of meeting
- Teams channel meetings (SharePoint)
- Non channel Teams meetings (OneDrive)
- Teams live events (Download from meeting details)
Teams channel meeting recordings
When you record a meeting from a Teams channel, a link to the recording is saved in the meeting chat and the recording is saved in the Teams channel Files "Recordings" folder
Teams channel meeting recordings are stored in SharePoint
Other (non channel) Teams Meeting Recordings
When you record other Teams meetings (not in a channel), the recording is saved in OneDrive in the Recordings folder
Non channel meeting recordings are saved in the OneDrive (SharePoint personal site) of the person who recorded the meeting
Aa link to the recording is saved in the meeting chat
You can open the recording in Microsoft Stream or get a link for sharing

What is Microsoft Stream?
Microsoft Stream is used for video sharing. You can search for and watch Teams meeting recordings in Stream.
Download meeting recordings from Teams Files or OneDrive (SharePoint)
Teams recording can be downloaded from Teams files or OneDrive
If you want other people to download recordings, you'll need to create a sharing link with the download option enabled (it's disabled by default)
Download Teams meeting recordings from Stream
Only the person who recorded the meeting can download or share recordings from Stream
Sign into Office 365 online and open Stream, then click on the recording you want to download
Click on the menu - Download
Cant find Teams meeting recordings in OneDrive, Teams or Stream?
Remember, only the person who clicked record has access to download meeting recordings.
